Backyard BBQ Pit is a newly established Barbeque restaurant which is family owned, and has been operating since April 2007. We are dedicated to excellence in fresh food and quality: preparation and presentation and renowned for our unique way of giving you a professional “Backyard Experience” that you will never forget.
We have moved away from the traditional commercial style of cooking and have taken our technique's back to the old way of doing things. Just like in "Grandma’s Kitchen."
Our Pork Barbeque, Ribs, and Beef Brisket are prepared just like in the old days in a “Pit” cooked over hickory and oak wood. This is so you can taste as well as smell the flavors while enjoying your meal. We also offer Smoked BBQ Chicken and smothered pork chops simmered over a homemade country style gravy. But we don’t stop there. We have a variety of fresh fish such as Flounder, Croaker, Catfish, Whiting, Trout and Shrimp prepared to your specification.
Our vegetables are prepared with a touch of class. They include; baked Mac & Cheese smothered with real cheddar cheese, Bake beans, fried cabbage, collard greens, black eye peas, potato salad, coleslaw, candy yams, fried okra, Brunswick stew, stewed potatoes, french fries, and string beans.
