Get that pest off your back after learning the "gentle way" of judo, a modern martial art and combat sport originating in Japan! You'll embrace the competitive element of judo, wherein the objective is to either throw or takedown your opponent to the ground. The philosophy of judo is to adjust to and evade an opponent's attack, lessening your challenger's power and balance. This makes it possible for weaker opponents to outdo significantly stronger ones. So it doesn't matter if that guy who keeps stealing your lunch money is almost a foot taller than you are! With judo, size doesn't matter -- may the strongest and most agile one win!

Be able to subdue your opponent with a pin after a throw to the ground

Properly execute a joint lock or a choke to force your enemy to submit

Leave the class being infinitely more well-prepared and able to defend yourself

Note: Atlanta Judo Midtown offers small classes with 1:1 attention. Children ages 13 and up are welcome to train in the adult classes.
