Batch 15 IPA
7.0% ABV / 65 IBU / 1.066 OG. Medium Body + Citrusy + Unfiltered. This hoppy creation is everything a Northwest IPA should be. It showcases the amazing resinous and piney characteristics of Simcoe, the crisp citrus of Citra, and the bitterness of Summit hops. Pouring a beautiful opaque orange, this beer is juicy, unfiltered, and delicious! HOPS: Bravo, Citra, Chinook, Simcoe MALT: 2-Row Pale, Wheat; AWARDS: (2015) 1st Place / People's Choice / Yes, We CAN! Festival
Dawn Patrol Pacific Ale
5.3% ABV / 18 IBU / 1.054 OG. Medium Body + Pineapple & Mango Notes + Refreshing. This beer is mild yet complex in its delivery. The hop presence is noticed by subtle flavors of pineapples that meld beautifully with the slightly spicy and minty character derived from the use of Rye malt. A somewhat recently pioneered style, this Pacific Ale is delivered unfiltered to accentuate its fresh farm to glass, unprocessed, organic qualities. HOPS: Cascade, El Dorado; MALT: 2-Row Pale, Caramunich, Munich, Rye
Ginger Rye Ale
5.4% ABV / 18 IBU / 1.054 OG. Medium Body + Ginger & Limes + Approachable. This beer falls into the "specialty" category, but it's based off an American Pale Ale and inspired by a delicious cocktail called the "Moscow Moose". The ginger is present, yet subtle as is the rye. The wild card is the use of limes, which shine through on the finish. This is an adventurous beer and a staple of our brewery. HOPS: Cascade, Nugget; MALT: 2-Row Pale, C-40, Carahell, Rye; AWARDS: (2014) 2nd Place / People's Choice / Yes, We CAN! Festival
5.8% ABV / 24 IBU / 1.058 OG. Light Body + Roasted Nuts and Chocolate Notes + Malt Forward. True Brown Ales are light in body, but not light in flavor. This beer accomplishes that with generous amounts of Chocolate, Black, Carahell, and Roasted malts along with a complicated mash schedule that delivers a malt forward beer with a light, easy drinking quality that will keep you refreshed and intrigued. HOPS: Cascade, Hallertau, Sterling; MALT: 2-Row Pale, Munich, Chocolate, Roasted Barley, Vienna
7.0% ABV / 57 IBU / 1.070 OG. Big Body + Coffee and Chocolate Notes + Smooth. This American style stout keeps in tradition with the high volume of roasted malts used for flavor and color. Black, Roasted, and Chocolate malts are used for a roasted coffee bean, dark chocolate malt flavor. Balanced with Cascade and Centennial hops for a crisp, piney character that is neither bitter nor overpowering. HOPS: Chinook, Simcoe; MALT: 2-Row Pale, Munich, Wheat, Rolled Oats, C-60, Roast, Black; AWARDS: (2016) Silver / American Stout / Best of Craft Beer Awards
Classic Light Lager
4.2% ABV // 24 IBU // 1.036 OG light body + malt forward + crisp This is your classic, easy drinking light lager beer — light in flavor, alcohol, and calories. While it may be an American macro brewery standard, it's better when brewed in small batches without corn and rice. Pours a pale straw color with a rocky white head. For a throwback to simpler times and a taste of nostalgia, reach for a Classic Light Lager!
0.5% ABV // 28 IBU // 1.040 OG light body + dry hopped + crisp Jack Lamb, the owner of Aslan, has a father Pete. Like many folks out there, Pete can no longer drink alcohol. So, we made him a beer he could drink, and named it after him. Pete's NA is a light bodied ale, brewed to emulate an IPA. It was made with unmalted wheat, spelt, and buckwheat to create a very low ABV beer post fermentation. We then evaporated the remaining alcohol and dry hopped it with Sterling Hops. This beer will not get you drunk, but it will make you think you are drinking an IPA. Hops: Premiant, Sterling Malt: 2-Row, Buckwheat, Carahell, Spelt, Unmalted Wheat
FIFA - French India Farmhouse Ale
5.8% ABV // 33 IBU // 11.5 P MEDIUM BODY + ZEBRA GUM + ORCHARD FRUIT For the 2019 version of FIFA we decided to take this beer back to its roots. Rather than creating an IPA with Belgian yeast, we sought to create a hoppy Belgian beer. The classic yeast profile is balanced against Southern Hemisphere hops to create a flavor experience that is best described as Fruit Stripe gum. Krausening created the carbonation in this beer, giving it a more refined finish.
4.8% ABV // 40 IBU // 1.046 OG LIGHT BODY + ZESTY BITTERNESS + CRISP Brewed in similar fashion to the northern German style pilsner, we named this beer Coastal Pils as a nod to Germany's coastal region where notable examples exist. Not to be confused with a Bavarian Pilsner, this style has a more pronounced zest and citrus-like bitterness. While not German, we prefer the flavor of Czech Saaz hops, which were used at a rate of 1 lb per barrel to create the distinct hoppy flavor. This lager is fully attenuated, hoppy with a refreshing mineral finish.
Arcade Dreams - NW Pale Ale
5% ABV // 40 IBU // 12 P PINEY + EASY DRINKING + EARTHY Trends will come and go. Tradition will always remain. As we shift our focus to brewing tradition, we want to honor those that came before us. This beer is a tip of the cap to the early days of craft brewing in America. A time when bitterness and malt driven body were still shocking to the pallet. This beer has a smooth, bready mouthfeel with a restrained, drying bitterness. A true American classic.
Rauch Spezial (Märzen Rauchbier)
4.8% ABV // 20 IBU // 11.9 P MEDIUM BODY + SMOKY + CRISP Modeled after the famous lager of Brauerie Spezial in Bamberg, Germany. This rendition would not be possible if not for Skagit Valley Malting. Sourcing organic ingredients is hard, but finding an obscure smoked malt in organic form proved impossible. So Skagit Valley stepped in and made us a custom beechwood smoked malt that is certified organic. The smoke aroma is evident, like smoked bacon or even campfire, but delicate on the tongue, and provides waves of complexity without being overpowering. Decoction mashed and lagered for 6 weeks for a clean authentic Rauchbier. Aside from the Skagit Valley malt, all of the ingredients where sourced from the Deutschland.
