Stephanie Shea - Director of Fitness Operations
I began training and teaching group exercise in 2008 in Redwood City, CA. After establishing a successful career in fitness, I married and Army soldier and relocated with him to Germany, where I continued to train clients and teach kickboxing for the Air Force at Ramstein Air Base. For nearly two years I took a break from fitness to become a full-time mom, as we returned to the States. We survived my husband's brief deployment to Afghanistan and moved the family to Florida to enjoy our newly-found civilian life. I picked up right where I left off in fitness and again became a trainer and group exercise instructor. I soon expanded my skill set to group training, the best of both worlds. In March of 2016 I picked up a new passion and began work as an actor at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I am currently enjoying living in Orlando with my husband, Ryan, daughter, Fiona and two dogs, Dexter and Murphy

Meet Our Instructors
Maria Marcano is a 200 RYT Kripalu Yoga Instructor, 200 RYT Inner Axis Teacher and a Certified Wellness and Food Coach. She has been practicing & loving yoga for well over 8 years, concentrating on the Ashtanga method first and branching out as she grew in self-awareness. Her approach to life and healing through yoga focuses in creating a practice that enables the individual to learn about the incredible physical, mental and emotional benefits of it. Personally, she strives for balance, strength, energy and joy for herself and her students. Maria's intention is to help people get the best of the ancient science of yoga for their bodies & lifestyles in a non dogmatic and practical way. Her style reflects the aim to help people enjoy a completely safe, invigorating and welcoming practice. Her formal training in the Kripalu tradition allows her to be her unique self and tailor classes to the students and Inner Axis training focuses on using breathing to reduce stress, anxiety and sleeplessness among other imbalances. These styles of yoga focus on breath, balance, alignment and modifications making yoga accessible to everyone. She is a believer that yoga is for everyone! We practice to become balanced strong & flexible both in the mat and in the real world
Since I was young, the wind rushing through the trees sounded like a song, the grass between my toes felt like roots pulling me closer to Earth, and the breaking ocean waves have flooded my soul. My life has been a quest of trying to become even more in tune with these feelings. I was searching for an outlet that would TRULY allow me to become ONE. I finally was able to find this and SO much more, through the amazing practice of Yoga. I first heard a calling for Yoga in 2013. I immediately felt the essence of Yoga running through my veins creating connections with my inner being that would send me diving deep into the Philosophy of Yoga. Three months later I was enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training. Thus began the start of a journey into the path of Hatha Yoga. I am now a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher with 200HRS in Hatha Yoga and 200HRS in Ashtanga Yoga. Although I have only been on my Asana Yoga journey for 3 years, I have truly always been practicing Karma and Bhakti Yoga my whole life. When I'm not on my mat, I'm fulfilling my duties as a mother and enjoying nature at its fullest! You can find me either at the local drum circle or surfing the waves of the east coast shores in Florida! My teaching style focuses on breath, alignment, grounding and energy clearing in order to integrate the mind, body and spirit. I bring the quality of grace to my practice and have a gift for intuitively feeling what is needed in the moment in order to customize sequences to suit each person as an individual and as a whole. I believe in the Yin and Yang of life and therefore, of Yoga, by exploring all styles. I especially enjoy teaching Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama and Meditation. I practice daily 5-6 times a week to keep myself grounded and present in the moment. Yoga has taught me how to become comfortable in uncomfortable situations and to trust in my own inner power. But most of all, it has given me purpose in life. In this field I always hear the same concern, "I'm not flexible." I always respond, "If you can breath, you can do Yoga." I heard someone say this once and because it is a simple and true statement, it stuck with me. I always encourage my students to accept where they are in their practice, whether they are beginners or ten year veterans. My intention is to walk in the light of my higher self and spread love and compassion to all. I want to share the knowledge that I have gathered on my journey in order to help guide others towards healing and walking the spiritual path. Namaste!
Stephanie is an adventurous spirit with a love for travel, photography, music, and of course, Yoga. She first discovered Yoga while preparing for a surf trip to Costa Rica in 2001. Searching for a form of exercise that would prepare her for the challenging Pacific surf, she soon discovered that Yoga was so much more than just a form of exercise. She fell in love with how the practice connected the mind, breath, and body as one entity. Her admiration for Yoga and love for travel soon took her to Thailand where she had the unique opportunity to study with Paul Dallaghan at Centered Yoga. During her 200-hour teacher training she was able to immerse herself in the study of asana, pranayama, Sanskrit, yoga philosophy, and chanting. In her studies at Centered Yoga Stephanie discovered the concept that Yoga can be done anywhere, anytime, anyplace, which she put into practice on her return flight home, practicing Yoga while on the 15-hour commute back to the U.S. In 2015 Stephanie returned to her second home at Centered Yoga where she completed an 80-hour Prenatal Yoga certification. Stephanie holds a Bachelor's of Science in Sports and Exercise Science and enjoys studying the similarities between Anatomy and Physiology with that of the practical elements of Yoga. While her primary Yoga studies have been in the Ashtanga method, Stephanie also teaches Vinyasa flow, Yin, & Prenatal. A nurturer at heart Stephanie wants her students to take away elements of Yoga that they can use in their everyday life
I began my yoga journey in 2009 as a way to recover from injuries caused by years of high impact cardio--from high impact aerobics and running. My Physical Therapist suggested yoga, and my first thought was "I guess I'll try it since I can't really do anything else". From the very beginning, I was hooked! Once I gave myself permission to relax and breathe, I started to realize not only the physical benefits of a regular yoga practice, but also the positive emotional and mental shifts. I became more focused and relaxed, as well as stronger and more flexible. I loved yoga so much that I wanted to share it with others. I trained with Viviana Collazzo and became a 200-RYT in 2012. I've attended workshops with Bryan Kest, Kathryn Budig, Shiva Rae, Kirsten Mooney, Taylor Harkness and others. I also completed Level 1 training with YogaFit. My teaching style reflects my love of Vinyasa Flow yoga. I love to connect movement and breath, flowing through poses, but taking time to explore how the breath can help us move deeper into a pose-physically and mentally. I like to incorporate slow, deep stretching into my classes as well. What I most hope to share with all of my students is an awareness of and appreciation for our amazing bodies. I believe that yoga is truly for everyBODY!

She was 200 hour trained at Kriaplu center in the mountains of Massachusetts where she was able to find creative and functional ways to teach any "body" in any way. Her flow style classes will work every area of your body and nurture every area of your heart. Passionate about health and happiness, Tracy serves under the umbrella of stress reset and self care. Colleen's approach to teaching is with grace and zeal and sharing real life experiences with her students. Her enthusiasm for fitness and wellness is demonstrated by teaching a motivating, alignment-based, a mind-body connection to achieve a sense of joy in exercise. Her classes are dynamic, artistic expressions, combining various teachings from yoga philosophy, poetry, and self-discovery, human behavior and thoughtfully orchestrated by an array of music genres to set the mood.
