Deep Tissue
This approach is used to release chronic patterns of muscular tension using slow strokes, direct pressure, or friction. Cupping Massage Treatment

Waxing Services Info
It is recommended that the hair be between 1/4" - 1/2" in length; You must wait 3 weeks after shaving before waxing; If you are using Retin A, Accutane, Tazorac, Differin, or using acid treatments, anti-wrinkle and antibioitc medications, we will not be able to do a wax treatment on you; If you have a sunburn or have recently had a laser treatment or plastic surgery, waxing cannot be performed. No tanning at least a week before and a week after waxing procedure.Time frame in between waxing is every 4 to 5 weeks, depending on hair type. The more often you wax, the easier it gets. It is not recommended to shave between waxing sessions since it makes the hair more coarse and the skin sensitive on your next waxing procedure

Cancellation Policy
A 24 hour cancellation notice is required. Any cancellation with less than 24 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Any cancellation with less than 4 hours notice will incur a 75% cancellation fee. Full charges will be imposed for a "no show"
Etiquette
a.r.t. massage body spa is a retreat for your mind, body and spirit. We require draping in all sessions and treatments. Out of consideration for others, we request that visitors keep noise to a minimum. Dedicate your time at our spa to complete relaxation. Switching off cellular phones and other electronic devices is recommended so that you may relish in your treatment without interruption from the outside world
Reservations
We do accept walk-ins, however, we recommend that you book well in advance to secure your preferred date and time of treatment. If we do not have space available for your desired date and/or time, ask to be put on our "standby" list. A credit card number is required to secure appointments
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates for our treatments are valid for 12 months and can be purchased at the front desk in person, over the phone, or from our website. Appointment "no shows" will void the gift certificate

Please arrive on time to avoid a reduced appointment time. Late appointment arrivals will be responsible for the full payment of scheduled treatment
Gratuities
Gratuities are greatly appreciated but not required
Refund Policy
All gift certificates are nonrefundable. Gift certificates are transferable and can be exchanged for any treatment of equal or lesser value, if available
