About Us
Arbor Lane Kennel was officially founded in 1989 by Jim and Kathleen Tilson. Having both been raised on farms, they shared an equal love and appreciation for animals. Kathleen first started boarding dogs at a very young age. With the help of her dad and utilizing an old horse barn on the farm, she began caring for pets of friends and family while they were on vacation. In 1962, the going rate was $1/day. The accommodations were nothing fancy, but the love and care each pet received was unmatched.
