The reason we can stay cage free and welcome all breeds is that we temperament test each dog. This way we can weed out dogs with aggression issues and also figure out which other dogs your dog will like to play with.
Getting Started
If your dog is a puppy and is too young for the Rabies vaccine they can still come to daycare.
We ask that puppies be at least 12 weeks old to attend Daycare.
If your dog is older than 6 months of age he/she must be spayed/neutered.
Boarding
The well being of your dog is the most important thing to us at Arbor Dog Daycare.
Your dog will be attended to 24 hours a day. Arbor Dog Daycare never leaves our charges by themselves, whether 2 in the afternoon or 2 in the morning, there is always a well-trained staff member with your dog.
Dogs boarded at Arbor Dog day care are automatically included in daily daycare activities.
Your dog will not be left sad and lonely, in a position to only watch other dogs play they will join in on the fun!
As for our facility, we are modeled based upon the best child care centers.
All entrances are triple gated to ensure the security of the dogs. We use only non-toxic, pet friendly cleaners. The dogs are NEVER left unattended. We monitor and record the daily activities of all dogs. Actively inform parents of any potential concerns with their dog.
Unlike other facilities, we don't have any "hidden charges".
If your dog needs to go out on an extra walk, requires special attention or has certain dietary concerns, just let us know. Healthy treats are also included (with parent's permission).
Don't trust your dog's well being with just anyone, bring them to Arbor Dog Daycare.

Treats are provided (with parent permission) free of charge.

Grooming
We offer bathing, nail trims, brushing and de-shedding all while you are at work.
Just let us know when you will be picking up your dog and we will have him all bathed, trimmed and pretty when you arrive.
What is de-shedding?
Well, we use the FurminatorÆ to de-shed your dog to get rid of loose hair which means less shedding at home and less vacuuming for you.

I have found a true calling in ensuring the care and well-being of dogs throughout the Ann Arbor Area. We are regular supporters of the Huron Valley Humane Society, whom Jon first became involved with more than 15 years ago. We actively support the Canine Social Club, whose most recent efforts culminated in the opening of the first official Dog Park in Ann Arbor (which finally came to fruition in the Summer of 2007). We have also fostered several rescued dogs for a local dog rescue (The Buster Foundation) and adopted another rescued puppy named Sunny.
