The Moustafi family hails from Miami, Florida and moved to Scottsdale in the mid nineties. In October of 2006, Joe and his wife Najia sought out a goal to open an Italian restaurant that incorporated both of their sons, Michael and Jason. Over the last few years, the youngest son Michael has taken his experiences into expanding the restaurant and introducing family Italian dining to new customers throughout the valley. Joe is the chef and has brought some family recipes that date back to his mother’s life in Sicily.
Many of the customers at Andiamo Bistro are regulars and often times become great friends with the owners and look at the restaurant as home cooking.
