Have fun, get results, and get back to your day! My gym memberships span over three decades however it wasn’t until I joined AnatomicFitness a year and a half ago that I could say that I truly belonged to one. The small group specialized training that is offered throughout the day affords me the flexibility to work out on my schedule yet always having someone there to provide me tips on form, diet and conditioning. I am in better shape today than I’ve been in my entire life and it is primarily due to the staff always guiding me to my personal limits. For the first time in my life I can honestly say that my day is not complete without a daily visit to my gym. G.T.

Types of Training
Our physical conditioning classes can help prepare you to meet any of your fitness goals. Physical conditioning is the development of physical fitness through bodily adaptation to an exercise program. Because every person’s goals and activities are different, our team will alter your exercise regimen to fit your personal needs. Whether you want to train for a sport or recuperate after recovering from an injury, our team will put together the right physical conditioning exercises for you to succeed.
Weight and Strength Training
Strength training, or weight training, is exercising with the intent of increasing your physical strength. Strength training reduces body fat while increasing lean muscle mass. Weight training is not body building. Building muscle is a byproduct of increasing your strength, not the goal. Strength training routines have many added health benefits too. By stressing your bones, weight training increases your bone density, decreasing your risk for osteoporosis. It can also increase your stamina, allowing you to not fatigue as quickly. Perhaps most importantly, strength training can also help you manage chronic conditions like arthritis, heart disease and diabetes by reducing your signs and symptoms. Muscle mass diminishes with age, making it all the more important to take part in strength training as you age. There are several ways to strength train. You can use free weights, weight machines, resistance tubes, or use your own body weight in the form of push ups and squats. Let the experienced professionals at AnatomicFitness develop the right strength training program to help you meet your fitness goals.
