Alignment 101 - Iyengar Style (Good for Beginners)
Iyengar's method, a form of hatha yoga, is based on giving primacy to the physical alignment of the body in the poses. In the Iyengar school, it is taught that there is a correct way to do each pose, and that every student will one day be able to attain perfect poses through consistent practice. Once this balance is created in the body, it will be reflected in the mind. In practice Iyengar yoga focuses on correct body alignment, use of props (blocks, blankets, straps) to help the body into the correct positions, and therapeutic aspects of asanas (poses) and pranayama (breathing).
Restorative (Good for Beginners)
Restorative yoga is "active relaxation." Parasypmaphetic nervous system is activated. By supporting the body with props, we alternately stimulate and relax the body to move toward balance. Some poses have an overall benefit. Others target an individual part, such as the lungs or heart. All create specific physiological responses which are beneficial to health and can reduce the effects of stress-related disease. Comfortable and relaxing poses are held for about 5 minutes. Very soothing and slow moving class. Open to all levels, including absolute beginners.

This technique is sometimes also called Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. This class is suitable for all levels.
Anusara Inspired Vinyasa (All Levels)
Anusara-inspired Vinyasa will link together a wide variety of postures. A common theme will be weaved through the class in order to introduce the principles of alignment as taught in Anusara Yoga. This is an all-inclusive mixed levels class where each individual is encouraged to work at their own pace honoring their body.
Vinyasa 1-2 (Intermediate/Mixed)

This is a multi level class for those ready to take their practice to the next level, suitable for intermediate beginners and intermediate and advanced students.
Hatha Yoga Beginners (Good for Beginners)
Hatha is a slow-paced stretching class with some simple breathing exercises and perhaps seated meditation. This is a good place to learn basic poses, relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with yoga. This classic Hatha Yoga class is suitable for beginners.
Yoga Fitness (All Levels Fitness)
Yoga Fitness is an energetic class for a core and total body workout taught at a more vigorous pace. Yoga Fitness is a revitalizing fusion of yoga and fitness and will complement your other yoga practices while pushing your strength as you deepen your practice. Faster paced class, cardio style class.
Yoga Stretch (Good for Beginners)
Yoga Stretch incorporates gentle movement with longer holds to release and open the body. This class will explore different poses, mostly seated and reclined, to help you relax, stretch, lengthen and and restore your body. Great for students who are new to yoga and those who are interested in deep stretching. Among the many benefits: enhancing flexibility, lubricates joints, decreases stress, reduces blood pressure, eases discomfort in arthritis and MORE.
Yin Yoga (Good for Beginners)
Yin yoga is a deep practice that is gentle, yet intense, and helps students of all levels to release tension, surrender, slow down and come back to balance. There are fewer poses with longer hold times to target the dense connective tissues, such as ligaments and fascia, along with the energetic systems of the body to bring the body into balance and increase it's natural range of motion. Many of the poses are seated, supine or prone and are held with muscles relaxed in stillness for three to five minutes. This practice will leave you feeling refreshed, restored and with renewed energy. The Yin practice has powerful mental and emotional benefits as its practitioner becomes quiet, still and mindful of the present.
Hatha Gentle Flow (Good for Beginners)
Our gentle Hatha Flow class is appropriate for beginners as well as continuing students. Traditional Yoga postures and breath work will be taught designed to enhance flexibility, alignment, strength, and stress relief. Students work at their own level and variations of poses are shown as needed.
Yoga Essentials (Good for Beginners)
"LivingLight" Emphasis on core strength, flexibility, flow and concentration. This class will fuse Yoga, Fitness and Pilates weaved into a philosophic / spiritual themed class. Within each of us there is an infinite source of creative energy and healing. Learn tools to activate and align with these subtle forces through movement and meditation based on Yoga, Eastern Medicine, Breathwork, Pilates, Kabbalah + more. This class will stretch your perceptions of the body + mind. All levels and Good for Beginners.
Vinyasa (All Levels & Beginners)

Our Hatha & Meditation class focuses on the breath and traditional yoga poses to strengthen the body, increase flexibility, strength and stress relief. The class will include pranayama or breath to expand energy flow. The class will always begin or end with meditation and techniques to help foster a self-practice. This class is designed create a mind-body connection, balance well being. Students work at their own pace. This class is appropriate for all beginners as well as continuing students.

Hatha/Jnana Yoga (All Levels)
This Hatha yoga class is classical form of yoga postures and breathing that revitalizes the body physically and mentally. It is an uplifting flow practice that increases muscle tone, improves flexibility and concentration, detoxifies the vital organs and allows you to relax deeply. This class usually has a theme. In the beginning of this class we practice Jnana yoga (pronounced "giana") - the yoga of knowledge. We may learn about chakras, yoga philosophy, breathing and meditation techniques and more. Our Hatha yoga class is open to students of various levels.
