Owners Mark Schott, Tom Wann, and Susan Mancia Wann together bring a total of more than 75 years restaurant experience. We have gathered authentic old family recipes from our extended Italian family which includes the Piancentino family from Northern Italia, the Mancia family from Perugia and the Miceli family from Sicily.
Our Pizza and Sandwich recipes are for the authentic Italian street food that Susan grew up with on the famous New Jersey Shore Boardwalks. Pizzas were originally called "Tomato Pies" by the Italian immigrants that opened the first Italian restaurants on the East Coast. Like the original Pizzas, ours are made from fresh dough, made daily, hand tossed, and covered with our special pizza sauce and unique cheese blend that brings back the flavorful pizzas of the past.
By combining authentic Italian recipes, decor, and music we hope to bring to you a fun true Italian dining experience, much like one that Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra would have enjoyed in the 1960's. Just for fun, we have added our signature Fedora Style "Gangster" hats and two life size cut-outs of Frank and Dean. Be sure to take your picture with Frank and Dean when you visit.
