At Beaumont Power Yoga we honor the power of yoga to strengthen our health, burn calories, build flexibility, and bring calmness and peace to our busy minds. Using a flow-based practice in a hot room (about 90 degrees), we heat up the body from the inside out and work the cardiovascular system. During the flow, we use our own body weight to challenge ourselves with strength poses, allowing us to incorporate weight training in each class. We do this by breathing through stretches and becoming aware of the sensations, thus helping us stay present.
