A light touch massage that sedates the nervous system, but does not access deeply into the muscle bellies.
A deep tissue massage that works the tension out of individual muscles. It can be full body or just upper body work, depending on specific needs.
A combination of the relaxation massage and the therapeutic massage. Primarily a relaxation massage with some time spent on problem areas (neck tension, etc).
Can be a lighter or deeper massage. There are areas of the body we stay away from completely, and areas that we will work. The massage is usually performed while the mom to be is lying on her side, bolstered comfortably with pillows.
We took all the fluff out of hot stone massage, married it to our signature deep tissue, muscle specific therapeutic massage and there you have it...."The best of both worlds"

Aaron, Office Manager
Aaron is our Office Manager and our nephew. I know, he's not who you would expect to be greeting you at a massotherapy clinic. Yes, he not only looks like a football player, He IS a football player (semi-pro). We love him dearly and he brings a stability, professionalism and a-kind-of "security" feeling to the clinic. Actually, he is as loving and gentle as a teddy bear (except when he is on the football field).
Larry Matejka, Consultant and Author
My wife Alicia and I own Alicia's Massotherapy and we make a great team. Alicia with her 16 years as a licensed massage therapist is well qualified to perform the specialty medical massage and train the therapists. I am a business consultant and life coach with 25 years experience and I lead the business side and culture standards (visit my website). Aaron is our office manager and does an outstanding job of keeping things running smooth on a daily basis. As for our therapists, they are all well trained and licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board. Of course I'm biased, but I beleive they are the best!
Training and Development
Learning and growing would best describe the focus of our team
As our home page mentions we desire to be the best massotherapy clinic in Northeast Ohio. That cannot happen without the best therapists. So it is our goal to hire the best we can hire and then through training and development help make them even better. Alicia is the primary person doing the training. But we also do group training when we can having all the therapist both receiving and giving massage on one another so all can learn from each other and collectively sharpen their skills.
As Alicia says, "I teach a generally specific massage"
A massage that is thorough, yet specific when finding and working out problems. Our therapists are evaluated around many questions; are they going too fast? are they discerning of the body? is their pressure consistent? are they nurturing? are they present? do they follow our strict draping standards to be sure the client is never exposed at any time? do they regularly ask about pressure to be sure the client is satisfied? can they visualize the muscle groups to be sure their strokes are complete and strategic? if needed, can they prescribe a treatment plan that will get the client the results they want? Our goal is to address all of these areas while still leaving the therapist room to exercise their gifts with their own style.
