Duration: 3.25 hours; $129. Woof! Woof! There's nothing quite like "ruffing" it in Alaska, as you'll find out during this informative dogsled experience! You'll begin your day with a tour of downtown Skagway and a nine-mile ride along the coastline to Musher's Camp. Arriving at the camp, you'll board a specialized unimog for a ride up a rugged mountain road, where you'll greet your musher and the team of Alaskan Huskies that will be pulling you on the next leg of your journey. That next leg involves a mile-long, zigzagging ride through the Tongass National Rainforest that is sure to be the highlight of your day. You'll enjoy being pulled by the huskies aboard a custom-built wheeled sled designed for summer training. Then, it's back on the unimog for a return to the kennels, where you'll learn about the work that goes into training and caring for the dog. You'll even have time to play with the puppies, which is an important part of socialization and getting them ready for their racing careers! It should be a doggone good time!

Duration: 3.5 hours; $159. When it comes to exploring Alaska's incredible natural bounties, four legs are better than two! You'll find that out for yourself while prancing through the Klondike Gold Rush National Historic Park. Saddle up for some fun! You'll begin your day with a quick driving tour of Skagway, followed by a scenic coastline ride to Alaska Excursions' Dyea ranch. There, after a brief safety presentation, you'll mount up beside an experienced handler and set off for nearly two hours of riding through the park. As you ride, you'll enjoy stories of the area's past, including tales of the Klondike Gold Rush. You'll see plenty of signs of those hectic times as well, such as the ruins of a former gold rush town and the Slide Cemetery. You'll also enjoy sweeping scenery featuring pristine mountain backdrops, sprawling forest, and Alaskan wildflowers. Riding out onto the Dyea flats, you'll spend some time taking in an overlook view of the Lynn Canal. This is a great chance to spot a range of native wildlife, including bald eagles! Duration: 6 hours; $219. Think you haven't seen the real Alaska? Get a tantalizing glimpse of the surreal beauty of this remarkable state with a 6-hour exploration! You'll begin your adventure with a 60-minute ride across the icy waters of North America's deepest fjord. There, you'll enjoy unobstructed views of the area's wildlife complete with a stunning backdrop. Your boat is custom designed to provide an intimate viewing experience. You could spot both whales and seals at play, and will marvel at cascading waterfalls plummeting into the fjord's depths. You'll soon arrive at the isolated Glacier Point beach, where you'll take a quick drive across to Alaska Excursions basecamp. Suiting up in rubber boots and a life jacket, you'll then walk to an overlook for a perfect view of the Davidson Glacier. You'll tour the mountain lake at its base in a 31-foot Voyageur canoe, learning about the area from your guide, and spotting some of the area wildlife.
