The therapeutic modality stretches connective tissue and can break up adhesions when our bodies overbuild connective tissue during its daily repairs. It can also bring balance of energy through emotional release, improve mental relaxation, and promote quality sleep. In this way, Massage reduces anxieties and nurtures and stimulates emotional health. Many people are finding massage to be vital to the environmental struggles that our bodies work so hard to protect itself from, and it is literally changing people's lives in a good way! Skincare is so vital and on high demand as we deal with the toxic elements around us! Our skincare therapists use the most effective products available as a Licensed Esthetician, and integrates according to the needs of each individuals skin type. Exfoliation is used in the form of enzymes and microdermabrasion. Custom facials are oxygenated as necessary to aid in delivery of ingredients. Reflexology

Akasa does not have an in-house Reflexologist at this time. We are looking for a full time practioner. If you know someone who is interested, please have them call Tricia at 720-382-6832. Thank you! Reflexology, also known as Zone Therapy, is an alternative practice of applying pressure to feet, hands, or ears that reflect an image of the body and can positively effect physical change to the body. The Reflexology Association of Canada defines reflexology as: "A natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears and their referral areas within zone related areas, which correspond to every part, gland and organ of the body. Through application of pressure on these reflexes without the use of tools, crèmes or lotions, the feet being the primary area of application, reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and helps promote the natural function of the related areas of the body". Works we ll with integration and to reduce stress and pain in various areas of the body.
