Masters
Senior Master Dean L. Wainwright
Senior Master Dean Wainwright is a 6th dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do with certification through the Kukkiwon.
During Sr. Master Wainwright's last visit to S. Korea in December 2011, he was honored at the International Hap Ki Do Federation and awarded his 6th dan in Hap Ki Do.
Senior Master Wainwright's lastest Tae Kwon Do promotion took place in the history-making event as this was the f irst Black Belt testing in the United States done by Grand Masters of the Kukkiwon.
The Grand Masters traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada where they tested more than 250 Black Belts from the United States. Sr. Master Wainwright also participated in the two-day Poomsae Seminar, another historic event.
In the summer of 2007, Senior Master Wainwright traveled with the U.S.
Hap Ki Do competition team to South Korea, This was another history-making event as this was the first American Hap Ki Do team to compete in the 7th International Hap Ki Do World Tri-annual Games. Master Wainwright competed on the demo team that placed first and took home the gold medal. His outstanding self-defense abilities earned him a bronze medal. The 8th International Hap Ki Do World Competition was held in August 2010 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Master Wainwright was appointed Referee Director of the world event by Executive Chairman Hee Kwan Lee.

Senior Master Wainwright supplements and updates
his skills by participating in numerous professional-development seminars throughout the year including refereeing, coaching child development, self-defense, weapons defense, grappling and ground fighting.
He is a USAT-certified
Referee and Level 1 World Class Coach and an International Hap Ki Do Federation-certified B-1 Referee.
Master Caron R. Wiesner-Wainwright
Master Caron Wiesner-Wainwright is currently a 4th dan in Tae Kwon Do and a 5th dan in Hap Ki Do.
Her certifications are through the Kukkiwon and the International Hap Ki Do Federation of South Korea.
Master Wiesner-Wainwright is World Champion in her Poomsae Division at the 2009 US World Tae Kwon Do Compeitition in Las Vegas.
While in Las Vegas she took the unique opportunity to study Poomsae with the Grand Masters of the Kukkiwon, who traveled from South Korea in an historic belt testing promotion event.
In July 2007
Master Wiesner-Wainwright traveled to South Korea with the U.S. Hap Ki Do team to perform with the demo team. She received a gold medal for her efforts on the team.
Ms. Wiesner-Wainwright
as competed in international and state competitions and won gold medals more than once in sparring. She was awarded the bronze medal for her self-defense techniques in the art of Hoi Jeon Moo Sool-Han Ki Do in the 2000 world games.
Ms Wiesner-Wainwright has been specifically trained in the instruction of children's programs.
She is founder and director of the A2 Martial Arts Precision Demo team. Ms. Wiesner-Wainwright is a USAT-certified referee and coach.

Master Wiesner-Wainwright received a BFA in Dance from the University of Michigan.
She was a member of the Oklahoma City Ballet Company and Contiuum Dance Company in Denver, Colorado prior to her martial arts career.
Master Mark Zahn
Master Zahn is a 4th dan Black Belt.
He is certified through the Kukkiwon in Seoul, S. Korea. He is currently A2 Martial Art's Sparring Instructor teaching the Olympic-style Sparring class. Master Zahn began his Tae Kwon Do training in 1993 under Master Han W. Lee. In 1996 he became a student of Grand Master Jae Young Kim. He started teaching as an Instructor for Grand Master Kim in 1999.
Master Zahn has been competing in Sparring and Poomsae since 1994
where he has consistently placed on the medal podium. In 1997, Master Zahn was State of Michigan Champion in both sparring and poomsae.
Dr. Zahn has had his own practice as a Periodontist since 1990.
He opened a new office on the west side of Ann Arbor in 2013. He is married and has two children.

Grand Master (Hee Kwan Lee)
Grand Master Hee Kwan Lee is a 9th Degree Black Belt certified through the International Hap Ki Do Federation in Korea.
He is the founder and president of Korean Martial Arts in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Grand Master Lee is Chairman of the U.S.A. International Hap Ki Do Federation.
Hee Kwan Lee was born July 7, 1955 in the small village of Yaun Sahn, South Korea.
Grand Master Lee began his training at age six in Seoul, South Korea under the direction of Master Instructor Young Chang Kim. During his life, Grand Master Lee has trained in many different martial arts, but found that Hap Ki Do was the martial art that most interested him. As a result, Grand Master Lee became a two-time Korean National Hap Ki Do Champion.
Grand Master Lee wanted to venture out and spread his knowledge in hap Ki Do.
He decided that the United States was the best place to do this. At the age of 24, Grand Master Lee came to the United States as a 5th degree black belt to teach Hap Ki Do at the International Academy of Martial Arts in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
In 1980, Grand Master Lee decided to open his own school in Battle Creek, Michigan which he called Korean Martial Arts Hap Ki Do.
Grand Master Lee has since made a home in Battle Creek, with his wife and two children. However, his training has never stopped. He still makes numerous trip to Korea to update and enhance his skills. The results of this have earned him the rank of 9th Degree Grand Master Instructor.
Grand Master Lee has left an indelible mark on the world of Hap Ki Do, and his work is far from over.
He has his sights set on the future of Hap Ki Do around the world, with the ultimate goal of making it as well known as any other system.

Dynamic Tae Kwon Do
Our Dynamic Tae Kwon Do class means we get down to business. This class is designed for adults and advanced students 10-years and above. As a student, you're taught the high-energy kicks of Tae Kwon Do from S. Korea. You will also learn the Taeguek Forms and the strategy of sparring which is what you need to know to earn your black belt.
