$95 per hour at office. I use a combination of techniques determined by the specific concerns of each client.
Full Body Massage
involves using the kneading and stroking techniques of Swedish Massage to provide overall relaxation, cleansing and rejuvenation of the muscles. To also address a few problem areas, Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (NMT) is added, and a 90 minute session is recommended.
A Focused Injury Session
addresses injuries, chronic tension and areas of pain, and can include NMT, Swedish, Posture Analysis, and Muscle Testing and Activation.
Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (NMT)
involves working the belly of the muscle and the tendon attachments at both ends of the muscle, which results in more thorough relaxation. It is a very specific deep tissue technique that can release muscles that are holding the posture in an abnormal position.
Posture Analysis
points to tight areas causing the posture to be unbalanced. Over time, an unbalanced posture can result in areas of stress and pain due to inefficient motion against gravity. Releasing the specific areas determined by the analysis can result in a more balanced posture, more fluid motion, and relief from stress and pain.
Muscle Testing and Activation
can locate and resolve blocks in the flow of energy in the acupressure meridians, restore muscle strength, improve posture, balance emotions and relieve pain.

Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular Therapy
Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

Muscle Testing Concepts
Muscle testing and activation techniques can be used in a wide variety of ways. When a person has a painful area, muscle testing can be used to find blocks in the flow of energy through the acupressure meridian system. Then activation techniques are used to restore the proper energy flow, resulting in relief of pain and a more balanced posture. The affected muscles regain their energy supply and can contract normally again. They no longer cause stress to the surrounding muscles, which were previously forced to work harder to make up for the incomplete contraction of the energy blocked muscle. With the energy flow restored, the system can work efficiently and comfortably.

Acupressure
Acupressure is based on one of the most ancient principles of healing - that simply touching a specific point on the body will release stress and improve health in the body. In an acupressure session, I apply firm pressure directly to these "points" on your body, which relieves your muscle tension and improves your circulation. This simple and powerful technique has been shown to be very effective in treating headaches, backaches, and even insomnia.

Lymphatic Drainage
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.

Reflexology
Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression.
